SLmüde …
Einer der größten Sl-Fashion-Feeds „Fashion Feed of SL“ macht dicht.
Gut, die – wie manch anderer – mochten meinen Blog da nicht, egal, aber ich habe den Feed immer gelesen und dort außer massenweise hängenden Mundwinkeln, piercingzugetackerten Gesichtern, breiten Hüften, O-Beinen und dicken Lolas in geschmacklosestem Nuttenstyle ab und an mal etwas Interessantes gefunden. Öfter allerding bei „iheartSL“, denn der Feed hat einfach mehr Klasse und die Postings, die dort zugelassen werden, müssen gewissen Regeln entsprechen, die ich nachvollziehen kann.
Viele SL-Blogger mit Witz, Stil und Klasse bloggen nicht mehr oder nur sehr selten.
All das aus den verschiedensten Gründen: Wichtigeres im realen Leben und/oder SL-Müdigkeit, die auch mich in Sachen Bloggen ab und zu überkommt. Eine Postingabstinenz, bzw. -lethargie, die auch mein Stamm-SL-Forum überfallen hat. Ich werde mir wohl doch ein anderes suchen müssen, wenn ich mehr Wissenswertes über SL lesen möchte.
Klar, über die Jahre verschieben sich Prioritäten und entwicklen sich Interessen (anders). Völlig normal und gut so. Dennoch schade. Ich finde SL immer noch interessant und (ent)spannend und lesen gern, was andere darüber schreiben.
Vielleicht tut sich mehr in Sachen SL bei Netzwerken wie Facebook oder Plurk? Nicht mein Ding, aber durchaus möglich.

Pillow Talk …
Vielen, die sich schon um die sechs Jahre in SL tummeln, ging es zu Beginn sicher genaus so, wie mir: Kaum die Nase in Second Life gesteckt, hatte ich ein paar Wochen nach meinen ersten Schritten ein erstes Stückchen Land, damals zusammen mit Curl Swindlehurst, denn wir wollten die Kosten für dieses Spiel möglichst gering halten … Haha…. wenn ich bedenke, was ich damals für L$-Unsummen für SL-Klamotten rausgefeuert habe, waren die Landkosten absolute Peanuts ^^.
Einer der ersten Shops, die ich damals aufsuchte, um unser Land aufzuhübschen, war „Pillow Talk“, wo man Kissen und Möbel mit den unteschiedlichsten, für damalige Verhältnisse einzigartige Posen bekommen konnte. Ein Paradies. Ich pappte Kissen mit Posen auf nahezu jeden Prim, der später auf meinem ersten eigenen Land zu finden war, und stopfte massenweise Kissen in den Sand. Das erste Bild in meinem Flickr-Album ist auf der Sim Pillow Talk entstanden :)
Neulich entdeckte ich, dass es den Shop im Himmel und die gestaltete Sim noch gibt. Die Sim sieht – auch wenn alles „alt“ ist, immer noch sehr schön aus und ist immer noch einen Besuch und ein paar Fotos wert.
Wenn man dort landet, kommt man zuerst oben im Shop an. Also auf keinen Fall vergessen, unten vorbeizuschauen. Alle Artikel aus dem Shop sind in die Landschaftsgestaltung eingebettet und können nach Herzenslust ausprobiert werden.

Sind SL-Kunden blöd? Sind sie zu dumm, ein SL-Produkt zu verstehen?
Da gibt es einen Thread in einem Forum, in dem ein Verkäufer beklagt, dass seine Kunden offensichtlich seine Produkte nicht verstehen, dass er für „alles eine Notecard schreiben, Bildchen malen und Fotos erstellen“ muss. Und dass die Kunden Notecards dann offensichtlich nicht lesen und ihn mit Fragen per IM behelligen.
Die Frustration auf Verkäuferseite ist zunächst verständlich, das Posting gehört aber eher in den Kummerkasten eines Forums, in dem man sich unter anderem einfach mal intellektuell unstrukturiert auskotzen kann.
Der Thread entgleitet dann in Feststellungen über die Dummheit, Blödheit, mangelnde Auffassungsgabe, und Ignoranz von Sl-lern. Zitat eines Antwort-Posters“Man braucht schon etwas Mindest-Intelligenz um sich in SL überhaupt durchzuwurschteln – und das ist gut so. Wer zu blöd ist einen Computer zu bedienen und im Internet Begriffe nachzuschlagen, der hat meiner Meinung nach in SL nichts zu suchen.“
Das schlägt dem Fass den Boden aus.
Ich finde es unterirdisch mies, über „Blödheit“ von SL-lern zu diskutieren nach dem Motto „Selbst Schuld“ und „wie kann man nur so dämlich sein“, statt das zu tun, was man tun sollte: Helfen und als Verkäufer seine Produkte verdammt noch mal so beschreiben und anbieten, dass keine Fragen aufkommen. Und wenn Fragen an Verkäufer und andere gerichtet werden, diese geduldig immer wieder zu beantworten und Hilfestellung zu geben.
Auch wenn es nur ein paar Cent sind, auch wenn es mehrere Euros sind, die man mit seinen Verkäufen in SL verdient: Kein Verkäufer sollte sich derart über seine Kunden erheben, dass er ihnen bei mangelndem Verständnis von für ihn einfachen Zusammenhängen Dummheit unterstellt. Diese Arroganz ist unerträglich.
Es gibt nunmal Menschen, die neu sind in SL und es gibt selbst „alte“ SL-ler, die etwas nicht vestehen, weil sie nicht tagtäglich damit zu tun haben, sich vielleicht nur selten in SL aufhalten. Und es gibt eben auch faule Zeitgenossen, die fragen lieber, statt zu lesen. NA UND ? Ein Käufer ist auch für ein paar Cents KUNDE. Sind mir als Verkäufer die Fragen zuwider, geb ich mein Geschäft gefälligst auf und brauch keine lästigen Fragen mehr zu beantworten. Basta.
Mein Gott, was für soziale Krücken gibts auf der Welt. Unfassbar.
