“Erratic” ist ein Label, das mir etwa vor zwei Jahren das erste Mal aufgefallen ist. Aufgefallen durch ausgefallene, sehr gut gemachte Kleidung. Leider wird in den verschiedenen Fashionblogs nicht oft etwas von “Erratic” gezeigt. Schade. Das Label verdient viel Beachtung.
Neu ist das “Lindsay” dress. Mesh. Sehr schick.

Funny and curious blogpostitles
Everyday I wonder what brings some SL fashion bloggers to show looks that are way beyond good looks and good taste. Some bloggers better those blogposts or try to better a nice blogpost and a nice pic with a title that is at least funny and curious, often enough idiotic without any link to the text or picture message.

Manchmal wundere ich mich, was SL Fashionblogger dazu bringt, Looks zu zeigen, die jenseits jeglichen guten Geschmacks sind (auch wenn ich berücksichtige, dass mein Geschmack Gott sei Dank nicht der Vieler ist). Was mir in letzter Zeit öfter auffällt, ist, dass nicht nur solche Blogposts, auch Blogposts mit hübschen Bildern und ansprechendem Text mit Titeln versehen sind, die mindestens lustig oder merkwürdig, manchmal völlig idiotisch sind und nicht den geringsten Bezug zum Text oder der Bildaussage haben.

Reach
Today I saw a beautiful photo in another blog. A girl on a tower of chairs. Immediatley the wonderful song of Gloria Estefan – Reach came to my mind. I plunged into my inventory to look if i have the tower of chairs … for a pose prop addict like me: Of course :) and I tried to create a photo matching to that song. Not so simple, because there was no matching pose in the tower, but after a little experimenting with different other poses, photo-cutting and cropping it worked.

Heute sah ich in einem anderen Blog ein Foto. Ein Avatar auf einem Stuhlturm. Sofort fiel mir der tolle Song von Gloria Estefan – Reach ein. Ich schaute nach, ob ich die Stühle auch habe … Für einen Pose Prop-Fan wie mich: Na-tür-lich :) und ich hab gleich versucht, mit dem Turm ein zu dem Lied passendes Foto zu “bauen”. Das war gar nicht so einfach, denn in dem Turm war keine passende Pose, aber mit viel Rumprobieren und Schnippelei ist was ganz Ansehnliches dabei rausgekommen:

Vom 09.Juli bis 22. Juli findet in Second Life das “One Voice”- Event statt.
Bis jetzt sind über 20.000 US$ zusammengekommen!
Ziel dieses Events ist es, durch 100% der Einnahmen an den Verkäufen die Kosten – ca. 20.000 US-Dollar – eines Rechtsstreits aufzubringen, den Gala Phoenix (Curio) gegen Hush Darkrose führen will und muss. Gala kann die Kosten nicht allein aufbringen. Hintergrund: Gala entdeckte, dass Hush Skins verkauft, die den Skins, die sie verkauft, sehr ähnlich sind. Um ihr Eigentum zu schützen, informierte Gala Linden Lab und bat darum zu veranlassen, dass Hush’s Skins entfernt werden. Hush wiederum erklärte vor einem kanandischen Gericht, dass Gala die Rechte an ihrem Eigentum verletzt hätte und informierte Linden Lab darüber. Was Gala nicht wusste, ist (wenn ich ihr Blogpost richtig übersetze), dass in dem Fall, in dem eine solche Copyright- Verletzung vor einem Gericht erklärt wurde und gleichzeitig eine Gegendarstellung an LL wegen des Den Rest des Beitrags lesen »

It must be a few months ago when I first read about LumiPro. LumiPro is a professional system for lighting in SL – perfect for photographers. When I read of the tons of features and possibilities LumiPro has, I was curious to see and test it.
But … to tell the truth … after I noticed the price I wondered what the builder smoked when he set the price ^^ and I forgot LumiPro.
Until today.
Colleen Criss brought LumiPro back to my mind with a blogpost and so I tp’ed to the LumiPro mainstore to check everything out. Wow… A fully functional demo is available at the mainstore (works only in the mainstore). Hm … I experimented a while with all the settings, buttons, bulbs and projectors.
To cut the matter short: My curiousity was back and was rewarded with lots of surprises ^^

Manchmal ist es auch für Frauen interessant zu schauen, was in SL für Männer gemacht wurde. Hier habe ich etwas seeeeehr Interessantes. Etwas, in dem Männer es manchmal verdient haben, ein paar Tage Zeit zu verbringen, wenn sie frech waren ^^: Eine Gefängniszelle.

When I was asked if i want to participate with one of my pictures, I felt a bit ashamed. The photo was shot three years ago and is lightyears away from being a good one. But I agreed.
Now I’m frightend ^^. Frightend after I saw the photos the other participants shot. Some of them are really wonderful. Sigh … :)
What I’m speaking of? Here we go:

Hosen mit Hintern in den Kniekehlen – an deren Anblick hat man sich in den Fashionblogs ja fast gewöhnt. Jawoll, es gibt noch eine Steigerung zu Hosen voll, nämlich … Hosen runter!
Ich male mir gerade aus, wie Mädels in solchen Hosen oder mit Schlüpper innen Kniekehlen durch Shopping Malls laufen oder die kommende Hair Fair zieren. Ich kann nich mehr. Der Brüller. DER BRÜLLER. Wer – bitte schön – gibt für solch einen Kram Geld aus? Wer – bitte schön – denkt ernsthaft, sowas seien Must haves? In welchem Zustand mögen sich die befunden haben, die sich mit sowas am Shape fotografieren und bloggen? In der festen Überzeugung, das sei toll? Und welche Pille hat der geschluckt, dem einfiel, sowas zu bauen?
Jaja, SL und die SL-Fashionwelt hat für alle Geschmäcker Platz, auch für schlechte. Aaaaalles gut … Ommmm … ^^

Searching the lost prim ^^
Recently I had to climb downstairs into our cellar as I was silly enough to slide a prim somewhere into the deep ^^.
The light bulb was broken, no flashlight in sight, but an old lantern from my childhood days.
